What do we do?
- We provide assistance with housing, depending on the availability of free places in the organisations hostels and helping find temporary housing in Palma de Mallorca.
- We also help with consultations to find permanent housing, at our own expense or with external funding from other charities however we are currently unable to provide permanent housing by ourselves.
- We also provide food kits and meals to those in need.
- We help refugees to access medical care, including doctor’s consultations, medicines and other medical services through getting public health insurance.
- We help, if possible to get advice for refugees on their legal status, obtaining documents and work permits (free of charge or at your own expense depending on terms)
- We help refugees adapt to life in Spain with advice, recommended language courses, job search and education.
- We host a summer camp for military and war-affected children where they can relax, recuperate and make new friends.
Financing
Unfortunately, nowadays any activity needs financing and therefore we have certain sources of income and resources that are distributed according to their intended purpose.

- Funding from the state: We receive partial funding from the state for public events, as well as for the payments of the foundation’s activities and the payments of rent for hostel premises.

- We disclaim any binding obligations or responsibility and provide assistance solely on our own volition, compassion and as part of mutual support.
Conflict of interest
We value transparency and openness in all our activities. We understand that each member of our community may have their own goals which is completely normal. The main thing for us is to ensure that these interests are expressed openly and transparently. We implement a policy that requires association members to declare their personal and professional goals to avoid potential conflict and ensure a fair and objective approach in all our decisions. This promotes mutual trust and maintains the integrity of our organisation.
Each member of Amar Ukraine plays a key role in materialising our mission and goals. To strengthen our community and maintain transparency, we encourage each member to openly share information about themselves and discuss personal moral values which are the foundation for our successful corporation.
We also value and support the individual approach of each member. Recognising that each of us has our own unique capabilities and resources, we strive to provide flexibility and openness in the ways that everyone contributes to the life of our association. This allows us to create a strong, cohesive and highly effective community that works together to achieve common goals.
